Announcing EventPro Planner Version 2.2

The latest upgrade of EventPro Planner brings some significant changes to the product, including new and enhanced features such as:

  • Multiple budgets are now available. As long as you do not budget monthly you now can have up to twelve different budgets per event.
  • Income and expense items are no longer separate items. This allows an Item to have both an Expense (Cost) and Income (Charge) associated with it. With this functionality also comes the ability to apply a markup to the Income/Expense item.
  • Detail Items have been renamed to Resource Items. You can now keep a master list of resource items which can be found in the Setup Menu under Resources.
  • An Exhibitor Attendees view has been added to the Exhibitors tab
  • Multiple generic/no name attendees can now be created at one time using the ‘Multi-Add’ option found in the Detail Options menu for event attendees. The previous functionality of the ‘Multi-Add’ option has been moved to the new menu item called ‘Multi-Add Detail’
New! The Resource Management Module

Also available to EventPro Planner Version 2.2, is the new optional Resource Management Module, sold separately from the basic product. This module allows for extensive conflict checking and management of resources. It is now possible to keep an in stock amount for a resource item and use that amount to conflict check across multiple events. New resource usage views have been added that show when and where a resource is being used at a glance.

Software Upgrade - Two Options for Upgrading
With the release of EventPro Planner Version 2.2, there has also been a change to the way you can upgrade the software. To download the latest Software Upgrade, which includes the New Features and Enhancements listed above, log in to EventPro Planner Support. Click on the Downloads tab and click on the EventPro Planner Install V2.2 ( link.
However, you can now choose to abstain from adding the latest new and enhanced features at this time and still receive an upgrade to the software which provides the most recent bug fixes only. To do this, click on the link appearing under Previous Version(s).
From now on, there will always be these two upgrading options. When you choose the most recent upgrade, new features, enhancements and fixes will come with it. When a previous version is chosen, bug fixes are the only change to the product.
Remember that Software Updates are only available to customers with a current Upgrade Protection Plan. If your Upgrade Protection Plan has lapsed, contact our Sales Department at Sales@EventPro-Planner.com or (306) 975-3737 (Press 1). They can provide you with information on how to reactivate your Upgrade Protection Plan so that you can continue to get the maximum advantage out of your EventPro Planner Software investment.
  • An Event Itinerary Attendee merge dataset is available in label/letter templates which will display all Itinerary Items that an Attendee is linked to
  • Error occurring when clicking on the Attendee Accommodation or Travel tabs
  • When merging a letter or label, not all fields were displaying properly for the Attendee Accommodation merge dataset
  • The ‘Company Contact List’ report was missing from the reports available on the Contact List View tab of the Company/Contact screen
  • ‘Event Exhibitor By Product Category’ reports were not producing any data (Enterprise Only)
  • Error occurring when attempting to print the ‘Exhibitor Statement’ report (Enterprise Only)
  • Itinerary Presenter selections were not loading properly on the Presentation tab of the Function Itinerary Item Edit form (Enterprise Only)
