Feature in Focus: Event Category Letter Templates

EventPro Planner has always had Letter Templates, but a recently added enhancement allows you to add your Letter Templates to Event Category Templates.  This new option means that each time you book an event using an Event Category Template, the relevant Letter Templates will automatically be pulled into Event Setup. At this point, you can simply edit the letter templates to be specific to that event, if required, and they will be ready for whenever you need to send them.  This new feature cuts out one major step in the process to deliver another time-saving feature to EventPro Planner. 

As you know, Letter Templates help to save valuable time by cutting out repetitive typing, and they ensure a professional consistency through all of your communications to clients, attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and presenters. Hopefully, you are already using Letter Templates to quickly load pre-written content into the body of your emails and communications! If not, reviewing Chapter 14 in the EventPro Planner User Manual will get you up and running. In the EventPro Planner User Manual, consult Chapter 14: Letter and Label Templates. You will learn how to set up the letter templates under Create Letter Templates and how to type up the documents under WordProcessor. To add merge fields that will pull in the specific information for each recipient – such as name, address, event name, and dates – refer to Merge Fields. Did You Know? Send Multiple Reports in a Communication

Did You Know… that you can now attach multiple reports to a communication in a few easy steps? When you create a new communication or print a report to email, you will see a new Add Report button in the lower right corner of the Communication [New] window. Click this button to open the Run Report dialog. Select the appropriate report and click OK. Choose the Report Options in the next window and click OK. The report will be added to the attachment area of the communication. Continue this same process until you have attached as many reports as you want to the communication.

Sending multiple reports is now so easy! This is one of many useful tips you will learn about in our frequently updated EventPro Planner User Manual. See Chapter 13: Communications, Create a Communication, under the General tab heading.

Software Update: Version 2.3.0.511

To download the newest Software Update, log in to the EventPro Planner Support Website. Click on the Downloads tab and click on the EventPro Planner Install 2.3.0.511 link.

Remember, you can also choose to abstain from adding the latest new and enhanced features at this time and still receive an upgrade to the software which provides the most recent bug fixes only. To do this, click on the link appearing under Previous Version(s).
Software Updates are only available to customers with a current Upgrade Protection Plan.
