What's New? New and Improved Attendee Online

The new Attendee Online is right around the corner! Just in the last phases of development, this extensively upgraded Attendee Online Version 3 will be available in October 2010. What can this online registration module do for you?


You need to collect so many details when registering event attendees: names, addresses, registration packages, travel, accommodation, guests, and so on. Instead of painstakingly gathering information through illegible handwritten forms and confusing phone calls ("How do you spell that…?"), why not let the attendees take some of the work off your hands?  Attendee Online allows attendees to enter their own registration details online, so that you can download that information back to EventPro Planner in one easy step.


The previous version of Attendee Online did lots of great stuff to make online registration easy, but the New Attendee Online has even more fantastic features:


  • A great new look! Who really believes that looks don't matter? The new Attendee Online has a sleek new interface that’s easy on the eyes. Choose a new color and background theme that suits your company's vibe.
  • Travel and Accommodation Reservations: Registrants can now enter their travel and accommodation requirements, either by selecting from your pre-set reservations, or filling out a new reservation form.
  • Requirements: The new Requirements form allows registrants to select required items from your Event Resource Setup.
  • Easier Setup: Customizing the online registration pages is now so easy. Select the entry fields for the online forms, choose to show/hide pages, customize page captions and descriptions, and much more. No special programming skills are required.
  • New Help Pop-ups: You can now create customized User Help pop-ups in your online registration pages to help out registrants.
  • Automatic Notifications: The new easy-to-setup notifications will automatically confirm attendees’ new registrations or accept/decline invitations.
  • Improved Payments: The new and improved payment system is now much easier to set up and use.

Coming Soon: Automation Service Notifies Your Go-To People

We have another great idea coming down the pipeline! EventPro Planner will soon be offering a new Automation Service that will send notification emails to inform relevant people of important dates.


In the initial phase of development, the Automation Service will monitor the status of Actions in your EventPro Planner database. Notification emails will be automatically sent to designated users in three cases: Action Reminder, Action Start Date and Overdue Action.


We plan to do much more with our Automation Service in the future. The basic job of the Automation Service is to continually scan your EventPro Planner database and look for things to do based on the rules you have set up. There are many possibilities for automation in Planner.


This is where you, our valued clients, come in. Many of our ideas for great new features come from client suggestions. What would you like our Automation Service to do? Print out certain reports at specified times? Change event status at certain trigger events? Send us your suggestion by clicking HERE. (Note that you will need to log in with your User ID and Password. Submitting development suggestions is one of the many benefits of maintaining your annual Upgrade Protection Plan.)

Software News: Autumn Software Upgrade

Fall is here, and that means it's time for our biannual software upgrade.


As you may remember, EventPro Planner Software releases two major upgrades each year, as well as intermittent updates for software fixes as required. EventPro Planner recently released its autumn upgrade, packed with new and enhanced features to help you work more efficiently.


To download the latest version of the software, which includes the full upgrade, log in to the EventPro Planner Support Website and choose the Downloads tab. Select the EventPro Planner Install link.


There are too many new features to list here! For a complete list, consult the September 2nd EventPro Planner Bulletin. Complete instructions on how to use new and enhanced functions are contained in the User Manual, under What’s New in Help.

See You There! Face-to-Face with EventPro at IAFE Conference

If you want to put a face to the EventPro Software name, meet up with our representative, Ken Neudorf, at the IAFE (International Association of Fairs & Expositions) Convention and Tradeshow in Las Vegas.


This year's IAFE Annual Convention takes place November 29 to December 2 in Las Vegas Nevada. The theme of this year's convention is "Aim Higher".  Our man on the ground, Ken, will aim to get you better acquainted with EventPro.  Ken will be at Booth #1319 to demonstrate EventPro and answer your questions.  He invites anyone and everyone to drop by for a chat.  Here is Ken's schedule:
