Sale: It’s BOGO (Buy One, Get One) Time

Do you wish you had an extra set of arms to help you do all your work? Well, we can't help you with that (yet…), but we can offer this great deal for getting more users on board with EventPro Planner. Right now, for a limited time, if you buy one EventPro Planner user, you get a second user free.*

Now… when we say you get a user, you don't actually get a physical person who will come use EventPro Planner for you and do all your work (we discussed that already!), but purchasing additional users will allow more people to use EventPro Planner at the same time. That means more efficiency for you and your co-workers.

If you want to take us up on this limited time offer, contact our Sales Department at Sales@EventPro-Planner.com or (306) 975-3737 (Press 1) before August 14, 2012. You must quote Promotional Code EPPNL1207 to receive this offer.

*Conditions: This promotion only applies to current clients who have already purchased the software and have a valid UPP (Upgrade Protection Plan) contract. Additional UPP Charges will apply to the additional users. This promotion cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases. It does not have cash value and cannot be combined with any other promotional or discount offer. No substitutions or transfer rights will be given. Promotion code EPPNL1207 must be quoted to receive this offer. Offer expires on August 14, 2012, at 5:00PM, CST

Helpful Hint: Organizing Your Company/Contact View

Are you using the Companies/Contacts selection grid in EventPro Planner to its best potential? Take advantage of all its features to organize it the way you want.

  • First, choose whether you want to view all companies/contacts or just one upon first opening the screen. Go to your System Settings, and check or uncheck the “Show All Companies/Contacts on Grid by Default” option under the Contacts tab.
  • Second, which view do you want the screen to open to by default: Single Company, Single Contact, Company List or Contact List? In your System Settings, click on the General tab and find Companies/Contacts in the menu tree under Tab Visibility. Click on the tab you want to appear by default, and click the Default button; the font will change to red.
  • Finally, do you want to change the order of the sub-tabs – Communications, Actions, Events, etc. – or remove some of them altogether? Still in the General tab of System Settings, unselect the checkboxes next to the tabs you want to hide. To switch the order, select a tab you want to move and click the up or down Order arrows to the right until the tab is in the right place. Remember to save your System Settings before you leave the screen.

Now, the Company/Contacts screen should be better organized for the way you work. Remember that if the screen is only displaying one record, you can click the Show All button to the right to display all records. Also, remember that the grid is color coded to help you easily identify certain companies and contacts: Companies and contacts marked as ‘Inactive’ are now highlighted in orange, and Companies that are marked as ‘Warning’ are now highlighted in purple.

You can find all sorts of tips for organizing EventPro Planner to work better for you in the EventPro Planner User Manual and FAQs. For more information about System Settings, refer to Chapter 2: Setting Up EventPro Planner, Step 1: System Settings, in the EventPro Planner User Manual. For help managing your companies and contacts, see Chapter 3: Companies/Contacts.

Did You Know? Wizards Make Tasks “Magically” Easy

Did You Know… that EventPro Planner Wizards are specially designed to make your job easy? For many important tasks, EventPro Planner’s Wizards guide you through the important steps of a process to ensure that all necessary information is captured. Wizards make EventPro Planner exceptionally user-friendly and minimize the learning curve, which is a great benefit for users with minimal computer experience or for new employees.

For example, EventPro’s New Event Wizard guides the user through booking a new event. You then have the option to run the Event Setup Wizard immediately after the New Event Wizard. The Event Setup Wizard is both comprehensive and flexible, so that you can enter as much or as little information as you need, including Budget, Venues, Suppliers, Functions, Detail Items, Attendee Types, Attendee Registrations, Accommodation Reservations, Travel Arrangements, Booths, Exhibitor Registrations, and Letter Templates. If you want to add every detail now, you can. If you’re in a hurry and just want to get the basic information in the system – no problem! Skip the steps you don’t need for now and add the information later.

You can activate the Event Setup Wizard in your Booking Calendar Preferences. For more information, consult the EventPro Planner User Manual at Chapter 4: Create an Event: Event Setup Wizard. Instructions about booking a new event are also contained in Chapter 4, under Create an Event.

Booking and setting up events are central tasks in your day-to-day use of EventPro Planner. If you need some expert assistance to get your booking process perfected, consider purchasing some EventPro Planner Training . For more information, contact our Sales Department at Sales@EventPro-Planner.com or call (306) 975-3737 (press 1).
